Liver Assist is our special device for ex vivo perfusion of donor livers. Two different pump units provide pulsatile perfusion of the hepatic artery and continuous flow into the portal vein. Oxygen perfusion is pressure controlled. Thanks to an integrated heater/cooler, the temperature can be adjusted from hypothermic to normothermic conditions.
